The root system of one of the fallen giants along the Trail of 100 Giants. Located along the Kern River in California's Sequoia National Forest.
This tangled web, makes the perfect playground for people of all ages.
It is pretty amazing to see the underside of these trees and look up at the towering wall of roots begging to be climbed!
