Description

While doing a little gardening last Summer, a Swallowtail butterfly came to rest upon my son's arm. He was named The Glorious Swallowtail, and he walked up and down my son's arm, perching here and there. The Glorious Swallowtail did not wish to be set down and each time he was set down on a leaf or balcony ledge he came right back.
I was able to hold him up for a quick portrait before The Glorious Swallowtail went back to my son.
The Glorious Swallowtail stayed with us for about an hour or so, and when he had enough rest he went about on his way.
