Artist's Description
"Pyramid Rock" juts out of the Kern River, July 2015.
While speaking with some older hippies, they told us about their summers spent here. They said that this was the rock they would swim out to, stand on the tip and dive into the water. Only the pyramid at the top was visible then.
The water lines can still be seen from 2011 when about half of the visible boulder was below the water's surface.
