Taken along the Trail of 100 Giants at the Giant Sequoia National Monument.
A man stands at the base gazing up. Struck by awe and wonder as he marvels at the beauty and size of the trees that have fused together over time.

Thank you Anita, I went to lie down in a small meadow below the tree to try to fit as much of the tree into the frame as possible. At first I wanted to wait until the person was out of the shot, but once I looked through the viewfinder I changed my mind. I love the way he looked at the tree and it shows how small we are next to these giants.
